angrybrit
Maybe it's a duplicate but I didn't find it anywhere on AtariAge. http://www.theoldcomputer.com/Libarary's/t...rts_summary.htm nice huh?
RCorcoran
Most of these appear on Sean Kelly's Commercial Archive Vol. 2 and I love 'em all! Now, I must find Vol. 1.
lionrohrs
Most of these appear on Sean Kelly's Commercial Archive Vol. 2 and I love 'em all! Now, I must find Vol. 1. Ron, do you have the link to that? Thanks!

Snider-man
Most of these appear on Sean Kelly's Commercial Archive Vol. 2 and I love 'em all! Now, I must find Vol. 1. Ron, Vol. 1 is out of print. But all the commericals on Vol. 1 are contained in Vol. 2 with tons more! In fact, Vol. 2 is the clean-up, expanded, tons better version of the Archieve. Don't worry about getting Vol. 1. You have it, and THEN some!

RCorcoran
Sweet! I wasn't sure if Vol. 1 contained different commercials or not so I have been looking. Nice to know I don't need it now. Thanks for the info!
Cap5750
I'm not saying that this tape isn't worth $21, but before you spend that much have a look around the net...including the newsgroups. I've got nearly 400 meg of commericals including a high quality version of "The Fly". Cap
Mindfield
400? Of just Atari? All ads? (as in, no promo clips 'n stuff) I've only got a good 335 megs or so of Atari-specific ads. Whatchewgot and why aren't you sharing? :-)
Cap5750
Mindfield, No it's not all Atari and I got rid of (or was at the time I was messing with it) most of the low quality ones if I had a high quality one. Hmm...quite a few of them I got from a.b.e.m from someone posting under the name of Mindfield! **Breaking into song** It's a small world after all...it's a small world after all...it's a small world after all...it's a small small woooorlllld! El Destructo
Most of these commercials, and a lot more, have been available from other sites for a long time. Surfing all the different sites to find the quality and format you want is a pain, though. Wouldn't it be great if AtariAge had a commercials section? I'd love to host my collection here. I re-digitized my commercials with a DV camera and the latest, greatest codecs. Here's a sample. Same file size, MUCH better quality. Look for the whole set soon, at a website near you (AtariAge, I hope.)

Albert
We've spoken with El Destructo, and will be putting his commercials online here at AtariAge. Also, Cap, it would be great to add your extensive archive, do you know where they all came from? ..Al

MegaManFan
man i remeber some of those man im getting old 31 yrs Don't feel bad about it, I'm 28. I think this is exactly why the hobby is peaking right now: a lot of us who grew up during the classic gaming era are now fondly turning back to the days of yore and in some cases (like mine) even acquiring the games and consoles they couldn't as a kid
Cap5750
Albert, I'd be more-then-willing to send you what I've got. Some of them came from The Commercial Archive, others from Atari History dot com, and a few others may have come from a few other websites (Atari Museum?) and then there's a handfull that don't say anything.
