I got another Virtual Boy game in the mail today. This time it's the Japanese "V-Tetris." It's a good thing the Virtual Boy doesn't have a regional lockout thingee so if I could, I could get a complete collection. I tried to read the manual, but it was all in Japanese, which is weird because every single word in the game itself was in English. This is just normal Tetris (different from the VB game "3D Tetris.") except the controls aren't as solid as one might expect IMO. In my half-hour of playing it for the first time, there were some "I didn't mean to do that!" moments, thereby dooming the game I was playing. Another gripe is that level 0 is too slow, whereas the highest level (i guess it'd be 19, don't know if it goes faster after that or not) is too fast. In the beginning, you can choose between 0-19 (usually in Tetris, it's just between 0-9.) Well, anyway, that makes 8, and I have one more to get before I can start looking for more, and I'll get said game next month sometime. I've been neglecting my Virtual Boy as of late, but I think I'll still be playing some more V-Tetris, even if its controls aren't perfect. Well, that's it for today.
