littleman jack
Having never seen a 2600 Jr. except in pictures, I've never seen what one looks like with a cartridge inserted. I'm curious how far into the unit the cartridges go. Do they go in shallow as in a 2600A woody? Or deep as in a 7800 or Sears Video Arcade II? Ot totally different? Would someone be willing to post a few pictures? Thanks for any replies.
nathanallan
here you go. cart inserted. donkey kong showing. pretty shallow. just the edge. Had a different cart and picture, this one is better. Edited November 25, 2008 by nathanallan
littleman jack
Thanks nathanallan, that really puts things in perspective. The Jr. really is tiny and the slot is very, very shallow.
mimo
Wow, I have never seen a Jr in the real world either, seriously small, maybe I will invest in one and put it in the spare space in my Atari
phaxda
I totally recommend getting one. I have one on my desk for quick game and controller testing. It's even hooked up to a really tiny TV! Does not take up much room at all.
