The Upgrade Store Veloce+

I was googling around, as you do, and came across an article about the Veloce+ upgrade for the STe that had a 68020 CPU and an extra 4mb of memory on it (that was recognised over and above system RAM) and I was wondering:

 

a) if I need to upgrade my 1040ste to TOS 2.06, how do I do that?

b) Where might one find one of these upgrades? They were produced by The Upgrade Store in the UK back in the day, but no idea where to find one now...

c) what might it cost?

 

Also, there seems to have been a kit circulating that allowed the addition of an internal hard drive to a 520/1040STe, which would also be of interest to me - I'm aiming to max out the STe if I can't find a Falcon for a reasonable cost!

Upgrade to 68020 will hardly find... Plus, it will be incompatible with lot of SW.

 

STE to TOS 2.06 - replace EPROM chips with programmed with 2.06 .

 

HD kit for STE is not available for long time. Maybe UltraSatan ?
