Stella'sGhost
What apps can I use to develop VCS games on a Mac running 0S 8, 9 or 10.? ( I have all 3) I'm looking on the net as I write this, but perhaps someone here actually uses a Mac for this as well...I don't know one person who does though dank you, dank you bery buch.... Cap5750
You might see if you can track down Dan Borris. (I think that's it...the guy who wrote v7800, used to work for Sierra, etc) Anyway, I don't know if he still programs with a Mac or not (I'm pretty sure most of it is PC now), but he might be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck! Cap
Cap5750
Never mind...Dan Borris has done various projects with Atari. You can see his homepage at http://www.atarihq.com/danb/index.shtml. But it's actually Aaron Giles who I was thinking of who did all the Mac stuff and used to work for LucasArts not Sierra. Aaron has done some things in Mame, specifically with Atari games, but not much for the 2600. Guess that's why I got them mixed up. Sorry 'bout that. Paul Slocum
If you find an assembler on the Mac, let me know. I'm going to be releasing a 2600 music sequencer kit soon, and unless I find an assembler for the Mac, it will be PC only. I hated that the Synthcart beat programming contest was limited to PC users. -Paul
Stella'sGhost
I know about Dan B's page, but I don't think he deals with Macs.... Paul, I'm still looking, however I will let you know. Many links in these mac-atari sites are dead. I'm pretty sure that the majority of users that post here are using PC's, thats just the way the market is for Apple. I have a PC as well as a MAC, but honestly I prefer using Macs. I may just have to surrender and use my PC.
