Atar1G1rl
Of the ones I actually own, I think it may be a toss up between Star Wars Arcade and Frogger. Least favorite is E.T. Phone Home!
jlnsctt
Heh heh! It's too bad Atari didn'y bury EVERY copy for every system of any type of ET game!LOL
Super-Genius!
I like Choplifter. The cartridge is different than the "disk" version. I thing the cartridge version is much better!
The Night Phantom
When I branched into Atari 8-bi gaming from VCS/7800, Qix was a prime motivation. Other faves are Beamrider and Ms. Pac-Man. Not sure about least favorites...I usually don’t invest much energy in dislike. I just move on.
DuckandCover
Favorite? Wow, kind of a toughie. I really enjoy Defender, Pit Stop, and Wizard of Wor. Least favorite? Computer War (WarGames).
Bill Lange
My fav carts are Atari Assembler Editor Cart and Star Raiders. My least fav is probably Atari Basketball. Though the Atari Assembler Editor Cart has some problems, it is quick to drop it in to test out an idea or two. WRL
Jetboot Jack
Favorite Cart - Donkey Kong Least Favorite Cart - Monster Maze (Epyx) - man it sucked when my Dad bought me that as a a present - I still played it but hated it sTeVE
Tempest
Favorite: Tie (Miner 2049er & Donkey Kong) Least Favorite: Hard to say, but probably something like 3d Tic-Tac-Toe or any of those other "filler" titles. Tempest
PFonck
8-bit Donkey Kong was such an improvement over the ColecoVision version! Every time I boot up the Atari I end up playing DK... might as well throw my other carts away. Least favourite? Wait 'till I got my SIO2PC interface ready and tried every one of them
RJ
Of those I own, my favorite is Rescue on Fractalus, w/ Donkey Kong Jr a close 2nd, followed by Moon Patrol. The worst one I have is Centipede- while a classic in its own right, it's just too bland- compared to Millipede!
flicky
Favourite: Spy Hunter Least favourite: Monster Maze Cheers Jon
Sheddy
Never saw some of those games released over here. For whatever reason we didn't have that many carts, and managed to miss some of the stinkers. Favourite: Joust - Superb as a 2 player game. Least Favourite: Missile Command. It's ok I know - but the worst of our small collection. Chris
flicky
Sheddy, I live in the UK as well, and a lot of the carts I have came from the USA. Atari 8-bit carts from the USA work on UK machines without any problems, and many of them can be bought quite cheaply on eBay Cheers Jon
Sheddy
Cheers Jon for that info. It may come to that when I get my new 130xe
SS
Least Favorite: Hard to say, but probably something like 3d Tic-Tac-Toe or any of those other "filler" titles. Oh, I dunno. 3D Tic-Tac-Toe isn't that bad really. Of course, I can say that from the perspective of having paid $3 for it. It would have totally blown if I had paid full price, back in the day. (Or worse yet, gotten it for Christmas from my Grandmother!)
