ICD MIO power supply...

9 volt a.c. adapter is what I have been using since the late 1980's, my MIO is still on and still working. It's only been shut off during storms and power failures...

 

I have only seen the MIO pull a computer low when power was off or failed...

 

That will result in brown or green screen.... do not do this It can stress the eci or expansion port connected chips. More damage will ensue without making sure MIO power is correct and clean. Multimeter and scope to the rescue!
