i always stay up past midnight, no matter what time of year, so i don't really care that much about the new year. Poor mom wants to stay up. i woke her up about 10 minutes ago, but she's fallen back asleep. Maybe she'll stay up once it reaches around 11:30. i so hope the malls are open tomorrow. i never did get on the bus like i said i was going to. i really want to get some cds of long songs again. i'm in the mood again. Right now, i'm listening to 2112 by Rush, seeing as how it'll only be 103 years from now. i have to switch to the 2009 calendar i bought a few months ago to write down important stuff, i write down stuff like celebrity deaths, games i bought, significant weather events (new highs, lows, snow, etc.) And now, the look back at 2008.

February - the 2007 AA holiday cart came, along with a game i programmed for it which no one likes.

March 14 - I bought my X-Box 360, thinking i would never get a Wii

April 11 - I bought a Jaguar, but i never play it.

April 15 - I finally got a Wii. The next day I bought Super Mario Galaxy.

April 20 - Brief snow shower in Salem, one of the latest snows ever.

April 26 - I got a Virtual Boy. The next day I bought Mario Kart Wii.

May 16 - Record high of 99 degrees in Salem.

June 28 - Record high of 100 degrees in Salem.

June 29 - Grandpa died

July 8 - Beck put out a new album, and naturally i bought it the day it came out.

July - We moved into Grandpa's old condo.

August 14 - It got to be 100 degrees in Salem.

September 7 - my nephew Andrew was born.

October 26 - Tied record high of 75 degrees in Salem.

November 4 - Obama elected president (good or bad? You decide.)

December 18-26 - Big snowstorm in Salem. The power actually went out from Dec. 21-22.
