AtariLeaf
Been playing a lot of NES lately. Balloon Fighter, Defender II, Contra, Popeye, Double Dragon - I'd say about 15 minutes each. Sayton
35 more minutes of E.T. A HORRIBLE session, under 100k in 30 minutes.
tisaperfectdayelise
It was a Paddle kind of day today. Over 1 hour of Kaboom! today. I still don't have the touch that I used to (yet), but it managed to suck away a good chunk of my day. I also spent a considerable amount of time swapping out Breakout and Superbreakout, trying to decide which one I like more. I ended up playing game 2 of SB for nearly 45 minutes. Another round of Mario bros for about a half hour, as well. Edited January 23, 2009 by tisaperfectdayelise
Lendorien
3 or 4 hours of Video Olympics with a friend. Sure it's just pong, but several of the variations are quite entertaining. The volleyball styled one is crazy. I just got my second set of paddles yesterday, so we had to test them out after they got a good cleaning. 30 minutes of Dragonfire. And 45 minutes of Jungle Hunt (just found at a thrift store), which I found only mildly entertaining. Also played a bit of NHL hockey on the N64. sandmountainslim
My final report for the week. Atari 2600 Adventure 150 minutes MissAdventure 60 minutes Zombie Chase 45 minutes Jack and the Beanstalk 45 minutes Cave In 45 minutes Circus Galacticus 30 minutes Famiclone: Front Line 30 minutes Aladdin III 20 minutes Twin Bee 20 minutes
Stan
Hahhaha, Front Line is hilarious in that version, just like the arcade. Those infantry-type games have sure come a long way. For me: 2600 1. Beamrider 2. Crypts of Chaos (definitely has not aged very well) NES 1. All-Pro Basketball (STILL playing this because it takes so long to beat it) SNES 1. Breath of Fire (close to the end, finally) 2. Smash TV

Ransom
I've been going through my video games alphabetically by era and giving each a fair shake. I haven't played many of them in years, so I thought I should do this to refresh my memory. Some of the ones I hadn't thought much of are not bad at all! Last night, I played: Dodge 'Em - 15 minutes (tough and fun, as always) Golf - 5 minutes (just as boring as I'd remembered) Haunted House - 5 minutes (I already like this one, so no need to spend much time on it) Indy 500 - 30 minutes (I had forgotten how challenging some of the games on this can be. I played all the timed trials, then went back to the devil's course or whatever, and tried to get 10 laps in. I just couldn't do it. But it was fun trying!) After I finish off all the colored box Atari 2600 games, then it'll be on to silver and finally red label era boxes. Then on to the next system.... tisaperfectdayelise
Adventure: 45 Min Demon Attack: 60 Min Dig Dug: 40 Minutes Kangaroo: 5> Min (just before I kicked my TV off its stand) Pitfall: 20 Min (a har, har, har...) Q*Bert: 15 Min I picked up a Ghosts 'n Goblins arcade unit this week, and I've spent a lot of time getting but butt handed to me on that. I ended up completing it, only to sent back to the beginning of the game, as some sort of twisted, cosmic joke...ARG! Ransom
Space Invaders - 10 minutes Street Racer - 10 minutes (slalom is still a decent game) Surround - 5 minutes (2 minutes on the drawing program) Super Breakout - 10 minutes Superman - 5 minutes Video Checkers - 5 minutes Video Chess - 20 minutes In this batch, the ones I still enjoy are Space Invaders and Super Breakout. The rest are interesting from a historical perspective, but not very good. I especially hate the interface for checkers. Joystick not very responsive, button way too responsive.
