Atarieviewer - Reviews of 8-bit games

Recommended Posts

Hi! I'm new here and trying to promote an Atari 8-bit review site I started some months ago. These capsule reviews are mostly based on first-hand experience with little research, so they're more of an introductory, non-contextual approach to looking at some of these games. Currently I have about 52 games reviewed, and I plan on reviewing about 110 or so.

Comments and feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Read some of the reviews and I like your writing style. Very funny and unique observations. I have a few suggestions for future reviews: Star Raiders, Zybex, Blue Max and Shamus!!!! Anyway, keep em coming I will be looking forward to reading them.

I've got a list of games already that I'm going to review (and Star Raiders and Blue Max are both on that list) but when that is done I'll probably just review some random games, and I'll definitely put Shamus near the top of that list, and probably Zybex as well. I try to base my reviews on gut reaction and nostalgia, but mostly simple observation and trying to make sense out of the bizarre game worlds and premises in some of these games. Thanks for reading!

Very interesting, please keep up the good work! I have a couple hundred floppies with disks, and you've reviewed some already that I thought were a little obscure, so it's interesting to see your reveiws. Looking forward to you doing the rest. Very unique approach!
