There seems to be a growing number of people who stuff the quote of the person they are replying to at the bottom of their posts. A post is not an E-mail. It's irritating to have to look down at who they are talking to, then have to go back up and read the reply. We're supposed to scroll down, scroll back up, scroll down, scroll back up, scroll down, scroll back up, and on and on. It's stupid. The quote is already at the top when you go to reply, so just leave it there. How in the hell are people supposed to know who you are replying to if you shove the quote all the way at the bottom of your post? It unnecessarily breaks the flow, making it harder to read. Feel free to crop the quote down to the specific part you are replying to so it will take up less space, but leave the damn thing at the top. Putting the quote at the bottom doesn't put you in a special league. You're just making your posts harder to read. And it doesn't matter if the quote at the bottom was how it was done back in 1929. It's 2009. Leave the quote at the top to make your posts easier to read. Don't break the flow.
