Dragon's Lair for PC?

I've got a copy of Dragon's Lair for the PC, but its like 10 years old. I tried to install it on my rather "new" computer, but the sound is all messed up and the controls are a little messed up.

Are there any more modern releases, I think I bought this one back in 1992 or 1993 (back when "CD-ROM" was the latest greatest thing! ooooo!)? I really wanna play this thing again, but I can't seem to find an arcade machine for sale around here, and the PC version was pretty good (missing a few screens, but really good).

Has there been a PC rerelease any time recently?

Thanks Stan :)

Wow! Thanks NE146!

And thanks Tempest, if you find out the name of that new release, let me know, I'll look into it too!

My girlfriend has never played DL, (yeah I know, she's on thin ice! :D ;) ) and when I tried to load up my old one, it was a mess. I'd really like for her to experience it and hell I wanna play too!

SOMEDAY I WILL own an arcade cabinet....sigh....

I went poking around on Digital Leisure's website, and they have a CD-ROM version of Dragon's Lair that the press release indicates was released in 2001. Could this be the rerelease that's been mentioned? On the site, they refer to the game as "Dragon's Lair Arcade Authentic Version". You can order it direct from them for twenty dollars. There's also a 20th Anniversary box set that is about to be released, that includes DVD's of Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair II, and Space Ace.

I have the DVD versions of the 3 games from them. They look right although the moves are slightly different for some of the boards. You don't get the beep like the arcade used it but it is still fun to play.

I especially like the interviews included with Don Bluth and the fact that Dragon's Lair II and Space Ace have a viewable option so that you can just watch the entire game from start to finish without any mistakes made.
