Red 5
For 2 + years now I have had a search on Ebay looking for Glacier Patrol and Universal Chaos. I was lucky enough to grab Glacier Patrol. It came up a few times. Universal Chaos, in over 2+ years of searching has N E V E R come up on Ebay. As in not once. Zero times. Nil, nada, nothing, zilch, other things meaning zero. I search in title and description. I am automatically notified whenever one comes up. I have mentioned this in a few other places over the years. Start at post 56 of this one... http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...al+chaos+rarity Others wher I've brought it up: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...al+chaos+rarity http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...al+chaos+rarity http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...al+chaos+rarity http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...al+chaos+rarity http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...al+chaos+rarity Edited January 30, 2009 by therealred5
homerwannabee
I agree on this one. Even in 2003 Universal Chaos was tough to find. This one is by all accounts rarer than Glacier Patrol. I would even think about putting this as a rarity 9. I have seen more River Patrols and Lochjaws show up than I have this game.
+DamonicFury
For years, you could get Glacier Patrol direct from Telegames, boxed, for a mere $15. (I was lucky enough to do so.) I remember there was a Ebay seller who would regularly buy them up and sell them on Ebay for twice as much. It's safe to say Universal Chaos is rarer than Glacier Patrol. Anyone know how long UC was available for sale?
yuppicide
You mean this? Buy it for $19.99 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 310117177285 I searched for 2 seconds and found it. Cheap too. I vote to leave it as a 5. Do you mean NTSC? That says it's PAL and in the database here I don't see a PAL listing. We should add it? +DamonicFury
The PAL version certainly seems to be less rare than the NTSC one. I bought a UC on Ebay, and it turned out to be PAL.

The NTSC version has not appeared in an Ebay auction in years. That is not an estimate or an exageration. At least 2.5 years.
yuppicide
... but I am saying there is NO PAL here in the database. How do you tell if one is PAL? Someone needs to add it to the database if there is indeed one.
Red 5
I think all telegames games had PAL versions.

BSA Starfire
I assumed it was NTSC as the seller states it's Telegames USA.
+Lynxer2007
I assumed it was NTSC as the seller states it's Telegames USA. Does that matter? There are a lot of PAL games that say Telegames USA (on the boxes) The seller took that info from that Digital Press website. BSA Starfire
I don't own any Telegames titles in PAL or NTSC , but as telegames was a UK company with a US division I assumed that the UK games would not have a USA logo. Apologies for wasting peoples time, just trying to be helpful. Best regards, Chris

A lot of Telegames USA boxes contain PAL games. In short: Telegames is a complete format mess. I still hope to complete the final Telegames format list some day. Why have PAL games in a Telegames USA box? makes no sense. To it make more confusing, you can't tell whats NTSC or PAL. That really pisses me off. I hate asking sellers what format their 2600 Telegames games are Edited February 20, 2009 by EMZayas
Red 5
The auction in question states that the format is PAL in the auction itself. Atari collecting is very odd. 10 years ago I never thought I would never own a Quadrun before I finished my NTSC telegames. Now I expect I may never finish telegames and I have 1.5 Quadruns.
