labrat
I have this modem but have no use for it. It has a standard joystick plug (a quick google search suggests it plugs into port 2). I do not have the AC adaptor, but it's the standard wall-wart kind, so a universal one should do. It hooks directly to the telephone line with a line out for your actual phone like 'modern' phone modems. Its yours if you want it and are willing to pay for shipping, or want to pick up in Cambridge (our fair city) MA.

UNIXcoffee928
You will need the MPP "Smart Terminal" cartridge to use it. I had one of those, back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. I remember that it was a black plastic cartridge with a big MPP logo. I am unaware if any other terminals could use it, or if there was any source code out there for hacking on it... maybe. It will do 400 or 450 bps (somewhere around there) if connected to another MPP100E. I did clean it up with Windex & Armor-All, & sealed it in a Ziplock recently... came out nice... ah, but be careful of the paper & cardboard, used in its construction, when cleaning it up. If you need me to check the voltage specifics of the power adapter, just ask, and I'll dig it out of storage to take a look. Have fun! +David_P
Most other term programs will support it with the proper R: driver. I have a full set somewhere, with a software disk, a copy of the term cart, the modem and power adaptor. If only I'd saved the box!
+poobah
stupid mpp/smart term facts The modem baud rate is quite variable, so long as you talk to another MPP modem, a friend of mine and i both had them, we could get them to work reliably at close to 500 baud. (paleozoic overclocking =D )
