emkay
50% hardsynth and 50% old Pokey style at 50Hz VBI OK, not at 50 but 64kHz Some portamentos are still wrong. Someone want to help with them? BTW: Don't think emkay starts to like the C and E generators but it is better than nothing and always good for some ambient, if not played too loud. exp64khz.zip
Rybags
Not bad... a few sounds there you don't hear very much. How about some triangle wave stuff? Although I suppose not much out there supports it.

I guess, if the triangle wave will work correctly, all other sounds will be correct aswell
pepax
A song from my favorite game - First Samurai! I'm really looking forward to hearing any new and more complete version.
emkay
A song from my favorite game - First Samurai!I'm really looking forward to hearing any new and more complete version. How does this sound on the real thing? better or worse? samtst64.zip
emkay
Listening to an other interpretation of this tune made me change some instruments... The portamento part is still not "lucky". One problem here is the unstable emulation. Seems I have to do this part myself by reducing the notes to the necessary... wish me luck Just listen and compare.... emulation and real thing. samtst264.zip
emkay
OK. Two pattern are re-worked now. Some instruments are changed also. Really, two of them sound fully different when playing them in the A8 emulator already. But the relation between high and low notes is kept as possible... And, btw, it's the ordinary RMT 126 used here... so no miracles with patched RMTs While listening to the tune... Please keep in mind that all "insufficiencies" at the melody-instruments belong to the false timing inside the emulation. 5.zip
emkay
Another set of instruments... partially. Could someone please make a recording of this version on the real thing, please? 7.zip
emkay
The melodic part is changed now to pure filter. If only the timing of hte emulation(s) will be corrected in the near future.... synth.zip Edited March 18, 2009 by emkay
emkay
Hm.... 50hz... no fixed filter correction...emulation still buggy. Well, a bit more melodic now. Caused by the usage of different patterns from two different voices, it sound like a remix now. The problem with "highly timed" filter voice is that it sounds wrong in the RMT when using portamento. The result sounds good (but not satisfying) in the RMT and the 800win+ . I wonder how it sounds on the real thing. sam.zip Edited March 28, 2009 by emkay
emkay
Slide variations here. Using "forward/backward filter adjustment for reducing cancelled sounds + better pitch recognition" ... seems to be better now at the melodic part. samu.zip
emkay
Handycapped 16 bit on RMT.... This version sounds a very bit dark style by the missing pitch slides... Gen "C" is completely dropped... sama.zip Edited April 10, 2009 by emkay
