Deep thought

I went to a guy yesterday that is selling about 80 Atari 2600 games. He want's $3 a piece for them. Now I'm not about to give the guy $3 for a Combat cart but he has others that rate a 4 (Turmoil) and 5 Gunslinger (picture). Do you have a certain price you assign to a rarity number? Or do you base it more on gameplay?

It's a bit of both. Popular games like Frogger and Pitfall II will sell for more money than their rarity indicates.

When I buy/sell Atari carts, I set the value solely on rarity. You can check out my conversion chart at:

Others have charts as well.. I know my chart has the prices too low on the high end, but I don't do a lot of business with those carts.
