Kripto
I find it pretty amusing that plugging in an "A/V" cable made the system's power light go on. Perhaps it's possessed? The spirit of Pengo?

Especially since the ColecoVision has no power light. I was just about to post that. Well it seems that there really is no hope for Long Island when it comes to retro games except for the Bayshore and Smithtown Play-N-Trades. This **** in the Attias flea market wanted $150 for a gold cart Legend of Zelda. I said "you do realize that it's one of the most common games and worth no more than $20". For Christ's sake the gray cart version is pretty rare and only worth about $15-$25 depending on the condition.
Koopa64
$60 isn't that bad, you could easily spend $100+ for one on eBay.

I thought $60 was a bit too high. the "red light" comment made me realize how much the guy was bullshitting.
Mirage
Well, it's possible someone along the line wired in a red LED to it. Unlikely, but you never know.

Even if that were the case and someone did wire an LED to the system , how does it receive power from a simple pair of AV cables? I say someone call his bluff , and go over and check it out. When the LED doesn't light , offer him $10 for the lot.
cybercylon
Maybe we should have a sticky for stupid craigs list posts, but there are so many that ask $100 for a 2600 with no box with 5 common loose carts. And $150 for a gold zelda cart? Was it sealed in box? Loose... dime a dozen.
