Hi,

I wrote a Lynx article for an upcoming Gameboy retrospective. It's eventually going to be in a printed 'zine, but if you're are interested in reading, here is the link:

I'd love to hear if you agree or disagree, and/or if I didn't mention one of your favorites...

Cheers,

Ben

I know I am annoying people with my love for it, but I´d list Rygar as one of the impressive arcade ports; it is the closest port to the arcade version of all.^^

On the other hand Hard Drivin´ looks impressive on pics because of it´s fully polygonal nature, but it is nearly unplayable with it´s ultr@-low framerate. :)

Anyway, nice article. :)

EDIT: Oh, and in theory the Lynx could link up to 16 systems, but no game ever made use of that

Just one minor thing:

"...or if Atari had been successful in securing all the rights to Tetris..."

That was Atari GAMES, what used to be the arcade division of Atari, Inc., though I suppose they could have worked out a deal with Atari Corp. like with Hydra, etc.

Yeah, that part could have been better written.

Anyway, the print version if the quarterly magazine is available.

If you are into portable gaming in general it's a good read, but if you are a dyed-in-the-wool Atarian, the above web link to my article is probably more your speed.

Cheers,

Ben
