Curt Vendel
Somone emailed me and asked if Atari ever did a Scan Converter for the Atari Lynx Handheld... Well, Happy Birthday Lynx, see attached technical files, jed's, schematics and other needed files to build you own Lynx to TV scan converter. Zerosquare
GREAT thanks Curt ! We're currently trying to reverse-engineer Rygar's Atari Lynx-to-TV adapter, to duplicate it using modern technologies, i.e. a FPGA instead of tons of discrete logic. (http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=139066 http://www.yaronet.com/posts.php?s=118999) Having the schematics will be very useful ! Curt Vendel
Ah, okay, well this design doesn't look very complicated, nor it is very component intense and since all of the code for the PALs is there, building a new design/board should be fairly straight forward, I half caught myself last night firing up the CAD/CAM and working on it, but I've got waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much on my plate as it is, and until they made 72hour long days, I think it's best to let others work on it, especially if there is a strong contingent of very eager Lynx enthusiasts who can do a solid design that is fairly low cost.
