jhd
Yesterday, I visited one of the only local thrift shops that usually has video games. There were 5 Sega Genesis systems (at prices ranging from C$6.00 to C$9.00) and 2 top-loading NES consoles. There were no power supplies in sight, and only 1 badly-worn Genesis controller for C$3.00. Surprisingly, there was not a single cartridge (Genesis, NES, or any other) to be seen anywhere in the store. Has anyone else experienced this phonema? I can see someone grabbing some of the carts for E-Bay or their collection, but there was not even a single Super Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt cartridge! IceCold
You did buy the NES Top Loaders right!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
jhd
You did buy the NES Top Loaders right!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Um, no. Are they terribly rare or something I generally avoid buying bare consoles (there was no ps, cables, controllers, or carts). I have only ever played NES games on an emulator; I only collect for the 2600 (until I find a CV, of course... ) If anybody (in Edmonton) wants these, the store is Value Village in Bonnie Doon. Duck Hunt is a very common cartridge. Even my neck of the woods which is usually dry beyond belief had this at one time.
IceCold
Dude, toploaders cost like $75 or more on ebay. Buy them and sell one to me, I'll give ya like $15 even for a bare console that you don't know if it works.
Raijin Z
Yeah, and all I find at thrift stores is shit I can't use. Like the thirty 2600 games I have, and nothing to play them on. And a Jaguar pad. And an Amiga 500. With no RF modulator.

Either sell the games to me or go to the marketplace on here, then into the thread that says like "wanted: 2600 or 7800..." and talk to one of the people that said they have one. If oesii has another one, I strongly recommend buying from him.
