shadow460
Is $60 a good price on all this? I haven't physically seen it, so I don't know what cart styles these are. There are no boxes or instructions, and I don't know if there's a wall wart or not. Out of these, I'll be keeping everything but California Games, Hard Drivin', and NFL Football...unless those can use the ComLynx then I'll be keeping those as well. I have a Lynx II, but I'm interested in the Lynx I as well. NFL football Stun Runner Electrocop Slime World Turbo Sub Rygar Gauntlet Switchblade II Hard Drivin California Games and one other cart Lynx I Carrying case List price is $75, I talked them down to $60 on the phone a minute ago. Fair deal?
Frizo
I think so, with those games and case and all. But if you just want the Original Lynx I, go to Amazon.com, and pick one up for 20 bucks plus shipping Edited June 12, 2009 by Frizo
shadow460
I grabbed it up. It has several games that I do not already have. The Lynx, unfortunately, is in pretty bad shape. It works from the AC adaptor but the battery terminals are too corroded to allow the use of batteries. There is a lot of paint missing from the Lynx itself, si I will probably have to repaint it. All the carts except one are the curved lip variety. Another cart that the pawnbroker didn't see was lying face down in the carrying case. It turned out to be Chip's Challenge in a ridged flat cart. Some of the carts have a name written in black marker on the back. I can remove it from Chip's Challenge without noticeable damage, but the curved lip carts are gonna require naptha to clean up. Game X Change has that. Fortunately I can open the unit and get the battery terminals clean, along with any more corrosion or acid that may be in the unit.
