fred
I just bought a Lynx II at a yard sale for $20. It came with a carrying pouch and eight games. It is in good condition except the the volume wheel has fallen inside the system. Is this an easy fix? I am not very technical so I don't want to mess anything up trying to fix it. Is there anything I should know before I attempt this repair or should I just leave it alone? It kinda sucks playing it with no sound. im_reg
Easy to take apart just be carfully and don't force anything. The screws are located behind the rubber grips, and there's also one in the battery compartment. I can't really remember how the volume control disc fixes on but I'm sure someone here does. If I remember correctly, there's a rather tiny screw holding the wheel, and if that fell off, it'll need some effort to find a fitting one (asking a watchmaker might perhaps lead to success). Other than that: yes, the Lynx II is rather easy to take apart and to re-assemble, even without instructions. Thorsten
