Captain Beard
Most of the Froggo carts I've seen have full-length main labels and say "Made in the U.S.A." But I have a Sea Hawk and a Sea Hunt with shorter labels which say "Made in Taiwan." I'm curious if anyone knows if the other Froggo games also come with that variation? Captain Beard
Really? No one can help me out here?
crunchysuperman
This was news to me. Great - another variation to look for.
Frostbite Bailey
Never knew that either, thanks for pointing that out! I will have to check through my spares now. Cheers, FB
Philflound
The Sea Hunt has been noted in my variation list for some time now, at least a year. The Sea Hawk is news to me. I have the long label version. Can you scan the version with the short label. I can grab the main label here, but would like to have the end label too. I only finished through G for Atari made games, on showing the scans so far, so it may be awhile since I post the scans for Froggo since I'm going in alphabetical order. If you can get the end label scan, please email me at pdispenza@verizon.net or else if it's somewhere I can link it, PM me the link please. Trade-N-Games
We have listed Cruise Missile, Sea Hawk and Sea Hunt with the label "Taiwan" and its shorter than the USA version in our book Classic 80's Home Video Games I have not been able to find any others with that variation. We only pictured the USA variation in the book.
CPUWIZ
We have listed Cruise Missile, Sea Hawk and Sea Hunt with the label "Taiwan" Those are the only ones I have ever seen. Want to know another bit of trivia about them? The Taiwan ones have blob style mask ROM's on a tiny PCB, whilst the U.S. ones use a 27C64A OTP EPROM (4K wasted) and an inverter. I have an extra Taiwan Sea Hawk sitting on my extras pile, if someone is interested.

Philflound
Can someone get me the Cruise Missile main and end label of the shortened Taiwan label? Thanks. Phil
