Heavy Sixer
It's been a long while, but I finally hit pay dirt at the flea market on Sunday. Check this out: >Sears Video Arcade II in the original box (great condition!) with manual, 2 controllers, switch box, power adapter, and six games: Space Invaders (Sears) Pac-Man E.T. Kaboom! Frogger Math Gran Prix The carts were loose, but they were in great shape with the manuals and even a couple of red Atari catalogs. Also included were a couple of small ad flyers for ROTLA and ET. >Box of 21 Intellivision games, all complete (mostly common ones, but still a nice set) All this for $25. My question about the Video Arcade II is: the first time I saw one, I couldn't help but be struck by its similarity to the 7800. Did Atari base the 7800 design on the VA2?
