yuppicide
I was reading this from 2003 on Andrew Davie and Interleaved ChronoColour. http://www.atariage.com/features/Stan2003/achievement.html Did any games actually use such a beast? I'm a lowly bAtari Basic programmer, but that looks freakin nice. Would be nice to use just as an intro screen or something (obviously not with a nekkid lady tho). There are very similar atributes to IC in the 2600 version of boulderdash which Andrew also created.
Thomas Jentzsch
Yup, the graphics of BD are heavily relying on interleaving colors.
Rybags
It sounds similar to the Colrview method on the A8. Has anyone tried something similar to APAC? Alternate scanlines with colour info on odd lines (use registers with luma value 0 or 2), and luma info on the even lines ? Although, I guess you'd be fairly limited in picture size and how many combinations you could generate.
Rybags
Andrew Davie was just on TV showing off his Russian calculator collection.
+grafixbmp
I acually had been (on and off) working on a rather crude game that would use a form of the IC tech in a rather unique way for a unique game that I would hope would be one of the first games to actualy try to put a player on the edge of there seat. A dark, suspense thriller game. I would like to write up a discription sometime down the road and post it. with some hand-drawn artwork as well. I guess I will post one of the images and let you guys guess for a while. On a side note, the image does not reflect any game screens but an overall view of the world of the game.
