I need Lynx tech help...

Greetings, I am considering a project with the Lynx hardware.

I need some help with tracking down tech docs on how to open each of the two hardware versions as well as simple schematics which show where the various components can be found on the motherboards of each of the two form-factors.

Additionally if anyone can tell me off the top of their heads, how many batteries each of them takes and what the battery life is on each, I'd appreciate it.

Lynx I = 3.6 watts, Lynx II = 3.0 watts. You're getting roughly 20% more run time on the Lynx II. mAh draw depends on the voltage of the batteries...of course they range from 1.2 to 1.5.

I personally run six NiMH AA cells rated for 2650 mAh in each Lynx. The Lynx II gets ten to twelve hours of play time, but something is wrong inside my Lynx I and the batteries will die even when it's off.

The Lynx I is pretty straight forward to open.

I had that sameissue with one of my L2.

The batts would die all the time...like I was leaving it on.
