endrien
I'm not very experienced in eagle, but I'm wondering what would be the best way to re-create a 2600 cart pcb in a program like eagle.
GroovyBee
First steps :- 1) Take apart 10 or more carts of the case style/design that you want your PCB to fit. 2) Measure all dimensions using a micrometer and take the average of each. 3) Create the cart outline in Eagle. 4) Print out the cart outline and place the PCBs (you removed from their shells) onto it and compare the two. 5) Adjust as necessary. 6) Make a cardboard mockup of the PCB and test it in the shells. 7) If you want connectors to the outside world look at the tolerances of the cart shells too.
