Thanks for ATR link. I'll try XEX as well. I actually got a whole box of games from Ebay with a 130XE but most of them don't work including this one. Yeah, there's some weird stuff going on in this game-- airplanes flying on different floors (must be toy planes like in Tom & Jerry). Those radios must be turned on with bad music so the flashing bits must be bad vibes. When you load the game and start it, the elevator starts at same position, but after that it just continues in it's cycle regardless you died or finished level or even started new game (at least by pressing START ingame, don't know if you loose last life if it will continue too or start at the position when loaded). It would help if they put an arrow on the elevator so we can tell which direction it's headed-- that way sometimes the wait is worth it if it's coming down. I always took take the elevator on the first floor. If the crook is still on the 2nd floor when the elevator opens up on the 2nd floor, then I'll chase him there. If he's on the 3rd floor by the time I start moving up, I'll ride up to the 3rd floor. When I reach the 3rd floor and he's too far away (on the right side) then I'll ride back down and up again and nab him. Another tip involves killing yourself at strategic times (if you can spare a life.) On the maximum level, if I was close to a 10K threshold, I'd kill off a life when the elevator is on the middle floor, coming down. When the new life starts up, it would be on the bottom floor, waiting for me when I got there. Jump in, go up to the 2nd floor and nab the crook pretty quick.
