King Atari
Okay, did a post about the 7800 one, now I need to know about the 5200 version. How does it play & sound? Is it worth picking up?
sku_u
The game is very playable with the 5200 joysticks. It also has some added features not present in the arcade version. Given that you could probably find the game for about $5, I'd say it's worth getting.

voiddweller
Okay, did a post about the 7800 one, now I need to know about the 5200 version. How does it play & sound? Is it worth picking up? The gameplay is very similar to the arcade. I think the only exception I can think of is a missing level....but I'm not an expert on the arcade version... The sounds and graphics are very good. As far as cooperative and adversarial play goes, this is one of the best for the 5200! When my brother and I were kids, it was played the most. The others were Joust, Kaboom!, and Ballblazer. Of course, I'm not counting the sports games...and for good reason
+Cafeman
Oh yeah, it's a great 5200 game, especially 2-player. Bounce your opponent into that crab, then blurt out HAW HAW HAW HAW.
King Atari
Sounds like a good one. Maybe I'll save up a little cash and buy a sealed one off of ebay .
sku_u
Get burned by a fireball and find out. I'd say that overall, the best games for the system are the ones that are really easy to find. Centipede, Pac Man, Dig Dug, Moon Patrol, Defender just to name a few. Don't buy into the hype about a lot of the harder to find games. calamari
5200 Mario Bros is way better than the 7800 version. Definitely grab a copy. calamari
