landsmarra
Hi again all... Well, my last post was so successful, I thought I'd try again. What I'm after doing is to burn some 2600 bin files (up to 4K only of course) onto a CD ROM and play them on a real 2600 through a Supercharger. Is it as simple as turning the downloaded bins into wav files with Makewav and putting the wav files on the CD ROMS? I own both the Stella Gets a New Brain (Starpath) and Lee Kreuger CD ROM collections and was intrigued by their accomplishments. Any assiatance would be appreciated. SS
Is it as simple as turning the downloaded bins into wav files with Makewav and putting the wav files on the CD ROMS? Yup. It really is that simple. I've made a few volumes of disks myself.
Paul Slocum
Just be aware that many ROMs won't work unless you modify your Supercharger to disable the bankswitching. -Paul
cschell
Also be aware that if you use the later versions of makewav that you will have to set the "supercharger" command line flag as the default output is now Cuttle Cart format. landsmarra
Thanks to all that have posted a reply... i shall try it and let you know if I fail BTW, I have modified my SC already so it would work with all the games in the Lee Krueger collection. Is this the mod that was being referred to? Thanks again.
