Ben_Larson
I've read that the 7800 was supposed to support a 320x200 graphics mode, but all the games I've ever seen on it seem to be in the lower-res mode (160x200 I think). Anybody know of any games that take advantage of this mythical higher-res mode?

Yeah, Tower Toppler seems to... http://www.atariage.com/screenshot_page.ht...peID=SCREENSHOT
Harry_Dodgson
The 7800/2600 Monitor cartridge runs in 320 mode. That way I could get 40 characters per line.
Joey Kay
Although the graphics appear to be 160x200, the character set on Xenophobe is the same as the 8-bit computers, using 320x200... come to think of it, I think Pole Position II also uses a 320x200 character set. Cheers! Joey

Cheers! Joey As you have seen, the full screen doesn't have to be the same resolution. It bears some similarity to the 400/800 series in that respect.
