Raijin Z
TRY CLEANING THE GAMES IF THEY DON'T HAVE A PLASTIC SHIELD COVERING THE EDGE CONNECTOR. ALSO PLEASE DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, AS THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO MAKE PEOPLE TAKE YOU SERIOUSLY.
AtariDude
Hi there. Welcome to the Atari Age board. I recommend that you start here. http://www.atariage.com/howto/connect.html This should help you figure out how to connect your system to your new style TV. Hopefully you will be able to connect your system and have it work. Best of luck and let us know if you are able to get it working.
bueita32
i have the connection right i still cant figure this thing out. i have the manuel tv/switch box connected to a 300-75 ohm matching transmitter which is then connected to the television. i turn the power on and the screen goes goes blank like a game is suppose to come on, but there is a line on the left or there is a bunch of color from the game. there is no sound at all on any of my games. could it be anything else??? thanks again guys. Eduardo
Checklist: a) Clean again the game cartridge, use a Qtip to rub those contacts, they should look shiny. b) Try a different game cart, make sure to insert the cart properly until it can't go any further but don't force it. c) Do a visual inspection of the cart slot at the console, the pins must look aligned and complete, if one pin looks bent you can attempt to align it in position using a tiny screwdriver or even a toothpick, just be very careful, those can break easily so apply a gentle pressure. d) Scan trough channels 2,3,4 while the game is on. e) Use a different power supply, any 9v 500ma polarity tip (+) will do. If none of that works there must be an internal problem in your VCS.
