Dragonlunch
Seen a bunch of 400/800 games complete in the box at my local thrift store today. They are $3 each. Are they worth picking up?.. In general is the average atari 400/800 game worth more than $3? Some were old style floppies, and I think there was one on cassette tape. The only one I can remember is "Wargame Construction Set"

4Ks
Seeing this thread reminded me of the time I saw a whole basketfull of 400/800/XE carts at Salvation Army. I didn't have an 8-bit at the time though, so I turned them up. And by the time I came back to that store, they were all gone.

+save2600
Since you're asking here, get them and offer to us AA users... And FastRobPlus is right... don't offer here if they're actually worth anything. Most of us want this stuff on the cheap for "nostalgic" reasons. AB Positive
I would think at worst at $3 a pop if they're all actually complete - you'd get at least your money back. I'd snag 'em, let us all know what you got. I know I'm on the lookout for the Alternate Reality games on floppy. But then again I'm probably not the only one. Defender II
If they are halfway complete $3 ea. isn't bad even for more common games. Let us know if you pick them up and post pictures.
nathanallan
Heck yeah, $3 each is a steal for around here. I only know of one other person looking for them here (besides me), but that's beside the point. Grab them, if they're common you can get $5 from at least me. Always on the lookout for carts for my 8-bit (tapes, too).
