Gigabyte
It's an awesome deal. Buy it even if it's not boxed.

It only had one joystick. Did these come with two sticks when new?
DeadlyDiskKun
Yes they came with 2 controllers.
MagitekAngel
Not a big deal, they're compatible with original Atari joysticks aren't they? I'd pick it up at that price.
tz101
Are these easy to mod with the 2600 cart slot? Would I have to scavenge one from a 2600 console?
DeadlyDiskKun
Are these easy to mod with the 2600 cart slot? Would I have to scavenge one from a 2600 console? Yes, scavenge from a non-functional Atari 2600. Also it takes a lot of soldering. And plastic shell cutting. I picked up a box, Atari Flashback 2 with the controllers and power adapter for 15$. Then gave it to a friend for a birthday gift.
tz101
Man this thread was getting some serious responses until somebody moved it. Was better under the 2600 section.

I had a non-working console that I bought at a yard sale over the summer. Something was bad with the main board and it looked like somebody had stored it in a barn because it was so dirty. I should have kept the cartridge connector. Instead, I threw out the innards and only kept the outer case as a spare.

It will save you the work of taking everything out to boot. tz101
I went and bought the FB2 today at the used game store. They gave me a worn out Gemini stick in place of the CX-40, but overall I am happy with the system for only $12.50. The selection of game ROM's seems pretty nice too. I never had Millipede before.
