ComputerSpaceFan
Can anyone identify this Commodore 64 racing game? I played it in 1988. It had really crude graphics even by C64 standards, basically all you saw was a black letter-boxed shape screen to represent your view of space and the dots were either star constellations or planets. The idea was you start riding on the back of Halley's Comet and you must race around the solar system against computer-controlled racers (all represented by dots) and get back to Halley's Comet first. You would be told you need to fly to Jupiter and by pulling up the map, you could see that Jupiter was currently in the constellation of Orion. So you looked out your window at space, turned left and right till you could see Orion and then you fired your thrusters to get there as fast as you can. As you got closer to Jupiter, the dot that represented it got larger and larger until it filled your screen and at some point you would be told the next planet to race to. It was not Crazy Comets and it was not The Comet Game. I already checked those.

SoulBlazer
Education and racing in the same game? And FUN? I'll have to check this out. I was a huge C64 user and gamer back in the day (late 80's and early 90's)
