Cap5750
Too high for me personally, but if he wanted it, then that's great. Cap
CPUWIZ
Madness ! This person has most likely got a bet going on how fast he can get 500 boxed games or something and money is obviously not the issue. Similar to "generalhellfire" who's brother dared him to start a collection. Whatever, I just needed the box for Wall Ball but I dropped out at $77.77,- ! Similar to "generalhellfire" who's brother dared him to start a collection. Whatever, I just needed the box for Wall Ball but I dropped out at $77.77,- ! Yeah...I didn't even bid on that one. I won 7 of his (Dave's) items, but they were all less the $7 apiece and the majority of them were $2.99. What I hate though (and we've all talked about this at one time or another) are the uneducated out there who keep driving the prices to that in the first place... For example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=1394907027 Huh? $43 for a silver space invaders? Last I looked, the silver space invaders is a rarity two. So even boxed, I wouldn't think it would be that high. But hey...I've overpaid for stuff too I guess. I mean, I paid about that same price for a loose pal obelix, so who am I to talk? smile_walle
Alright......let me explain about Sliver Space Invaders. What I can remembered when I was little kid that my dad did gave to me the sliver Space Ivanders in long time ago in early 80's. Somehow my sliver box Space Ivanders has lost somewhere, I believed that my mom did throw away, while I still have loose sliver label Space Invaders right now. That why I wanted to get Sliver Box Space Ivaders back and put in my libary, that why.....in my understanding that Sliver Box Space Invaders has been printed in 1982 by Atari INC, NOT by Corp. What I think the rarity guide 2 out of 10 might be in error, what I believed should be 4 out of 10, beacuse very hard to find Sliver Space Inavder has been printed in 1982, not too often seen at ebay. Hehehe..I did checked at the atariage and noticed space invaders' label showed grey label and printed in 1988 in Hong Kong??? Why say sliver?? it must be error!! I hope that Albert need to fix it!! Have look.... http://www.atariage.com/software_page.html...wareLabelID=461 If I won this bid, when I get it, I wanted to scan it and post this forums to proof it! Atarimania
Hi, Yes I think that the silver box of Space Invaders is rarer than 2, I think it's more 5 or 6 but the cartridge isn't so rare as you can find silver cartridges in red boxes. BTW it's only a 'problem' for crazy boxes collectors as I am
