danwinslow
When I have one of Ken's MIO's plugged into a 130xe with VBXE installed, the MIO refuses to complete initialization and the whole thing hangs. Is this a known problem?
Mathy
Hello Dan You probably have the VBXE mapped into $d6xx, which is reserved by Atari for PBI devices such as the MIO. Move you VBXE to $d7xx and everything should be OK. greetings Mathy
candle
to be exact, MIO is not fully up to the PBI standard too - it should only use a range of d6xx page, and it takes it all, thus not leaving space for VBXE which is not an PBI device at all but as Mathy said, and it was discussed before - just put it on D7xx page, and everything will be as it should drawback is, that not all programs written for VBXE will behave correctly, as some programmers disregard possibility of VBXE at d7xx page - but again, this is their fault
