ianoid
This portable I got off eBay and it's a pretty good unit. It looks nice, but it doesn't have a battery compartment. It could probably be easily modified to have the battery hang on. Anyway, it's for sale. I've decided to stick to Ben Heck portables only, just because I can't keep everything. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 400114928751 And check out my other stuff for sale this week: eBay Seller: ianoid And check out my thrift scores blog, where I post nearly everything I find hunting around here in Chicagoland: Thrift Store Army And follow me on Twitter: @deliciousgames Edited April 16, 2010 by ianoid
tetrode kink
Wow, what a cool, funky little unit! Just a few ?'s: Can you tell me the diagonal measurement of the screen? From the pics I can judge the basic size of the unit, but for some reason (possibly from the blown-up nature of the pics) I'm having a hard time judging the actual screen size. Do you know who made it? Was s/he a member here? So, no paddle control then? How long can you play on a charge? Thanks, -tet
ianoid
It's a 5" diagonal screen (or 4" x 3", larger than most portables. I haven't checked on the battery life, sorry. I'm sure you could get a new battery if you wanted more battery life since it's a standard battery type. Thanks for your interest, and I hope to see you bidding! Also, no paddle controller on this portable. And I emailed the seller a week or two ago (because I have the email from when I bought it), but no response as yet. The seller did make it, by the way. The battery works for a while, and I'm sure you can get at least 60 minutes out of it. Thanks again for your interest.
