Music Loop for ending or saving your high-score

MP3 file ( at NTSC speed ) : ColecoVision - Music Loop (variation from an arcade game).mp3

I'm not sure where and when I did heard this music before. Well, I had this music in my head this morning and I wanted to write it before forgetting.

It's a very strong and tiny music loop, so it's really for a waiting moment like an ending or highscore screen. :lust:

There is no end to it the way it's written, so it's just looping over and over again until you stop playing it.

This encoded music is in the sound format to be used with the ColecoVision sound routines.

Why I'm publishing this? Well, if it can help some programmers to fill a void in their projects with a music it's then a very good thing for the Coleco scene and it makes me happy. :D

; ColecoVision music loop written by Daniel Bienvenu, 2010.

; Note : Heard before at the arcade, or maybe while playing a Commodore 64 game, but I can't remember.

Thanks !

I like the fade at the end.

I know it is suppose to be continuous, but when I played it, the music ended with a fade out.

Basically, this data is the entire music, and you need to do is to start playing all these data by using the Coleco BIOS sound routines, which is pretty simple (even for ASM programmers). You need to build a sound table identifying each data parts and trigger them when needed in your code (look at coleco programmers guide documentation). Otherwise, for this case at least, you can also copy-paste this data to the ColecoVision Sound Player I've done in ActionScript 3 (Flash application)... I think this subject is still around somewhere, but make sure you get the version with a textbox that allow you to paste and modify data in it.
