Brian R.
Stopped in at an FYE store in my local mall today and was surprised to find that prices on some DC games have shot back to full level. A month or so ago I had found all their DC games were $9.99, and posted here about it. All their price stickers still said $9.99, $14.99, $19.99, $29.99, etc, but it turned out they were all actually $9.99, even though many were incorrectly marked and there were no signs or anything indicating a sale - I only found out when I took a $14.99 game to the counter and it rung up at $9.99. When I was in there today looking over what they've got left a girl asked if I needed any help. I asked about the prices and she said the tags were correct. I told her my experience and she got perturbed, but checked it out for me. Then she told me the stickers were correct. For example, I had bought a boxed Seaman with the microphone a month or so ago for $9.99. Now, they've got the CD only priced at $42.99. You would think they would keep the price at $9.99 to blow out their remaining inventory.
Lemmi
yea places do that, they try and blow out as many games as they came for a limited amount of time, then they raise the prices again untill the next time they need more room on the shelves
