Crazy Climber
Elevator Action 5200.... It is really a shame when that many hours of work go into something, especially when people are interested in seeing/playing it, and it just vanishes for ever. Makes me sad
4Ks
Wow, never heard of Muppets-Go-Round. This must be one of those protos Al kept secret from us until now.
Greg2600
Wow, never heard of Muppets-Go-Round. This must be one of those protos Al kept secret from us until now. It's the same exact game as Sesame Street Letter Go Round, released on Atari 8-bit, C64, and DOS.
Wickeycolumbus
Wow, never heard of Muppets-Go-Round. This must be one of those protos Al kept secret from us until now. Al only puts games that have been found in the rarity guide (or at least the majority of them)... this was just discovered.

+Psionic
So no one has ever found elevator action for 5200? May or may not exist. The programmer told DP that it was at 80% completion when it was canned and it was probably only on disks and not burned onto an EPROM cartridge. The programmer didn't have a copy anymore and I believe he has since passed away. Unless we get really lucky somewhere I'm guessing this one is lost to the ages. Yes, Joe Copson died back in 2003. Who is Al? The sidekick from Tool Time. I wonder what other protos he's hiding from us? Family Feud maybe?
+Allan
I just posted a label for Muppet-Go-Round here. Allan

Cebus Capucinis
You'll find out when a certain YouTube wrench-smash video is released. I hope it stayed "in the family" so to speak and went to someone that will be interested in dumping it, even if it is a kids' game.
Wickeycolumbus
Wow, went for much higher than I expected. Congrats to both the buyer and seller
hhwolfman
Wow no bidding war. None of the 4 giants had interest. Went for about what it should have gone for. IMO
procrastinator
Still, for a cart that I had in my garage, I did pretty good considering I would have thrown it out! shame it wasn't another Air Raid...

Crazy Climber
Yeah, not bad. All I have in my garage are cigarette butts and sidewalk salt. Not worth any money and they make an awful sandwich.

+Allan
Bump? My guess is that it's gone forever into somebodies closet. At least we have the finished 8-bit version to see how it plays. Allan
hhwolfman
Bump? Even I, Don't know who that Bidder was. The force is strong with this one.
Tempest
I was afraid of that. I was hoping it was someone either on AA or DP. Even if the winner doesn't want to release the rom it would be nice to know who won it so it doesn't disappear. I find it odd that someone not active on either board would be into 5200 prototypes, but I guess that's the case. At least we have pictures.
