27ace27
With the recent auction of an Air Raid game, eBay Auction -- Item Number: 110514343174, there is a box, so the rarity guide page needs to be updated with a pic of the box, and hopefully a link to this notable auction. ($31,600!!!)
EricDeLee
All in time, I'm sure it will be updated. There are a lot of updates that need to take place, but Albert is quite busy. I believe it will all be updated in time...
Albert
Yes, the Air Raid page needs an update big-time. I do have nice scans of the box, but I'm a bit hesitant to add them to the database just yet as I don't want people using those scans to create reproduction boxes to sell on eBay. ..Al

I wouldn't put them up. If anything you should put the word COPY in faint white across the pic.

I have thought about watermarking the images, but that's something I've been against for a long time even though other websites (including sites that have taken images from AtariAge) do routinely. I might make an exception for this box, though, or maybe make a subtle change that would be noticeable if the images were used to print a box. ..Al

Albert
Which websites are those? I'm not going to call out names, but in general MOST sites I've been to that have collections of images tend to watermark them. ..Al
DickNixonArisen
There was that hilarious issue with the Okami box art on the Wii...

DickNixonArisen
Oh, when Capcom remade Okami for the Wii, they'd somehow managed to lose the original files for the artwork... so they looked around on the internet (!) and found an image. So after it went into production, someone noticed.. oops, IGN watermark on the official box... haha

Sure, someone could redraw it, but they could do that with the images available from Ebay too.
