Gorf
maybe, if you have money to burn. They have a tendency to die. And not much to play either and they're expensive, I learned all this the hard expensive way... Thats starting to change though and we are getting more to play on the Jag CD as of late... Do the Same, Beebris, Superfly DX are all new cd titles for the Jaguar CD and many more are in the works Lets not forget Robinson's Requiem and Impulse X All of those new titles can fit on ONE Cd along with many more Im sure. The skunk would be just as good at handling any of these games.....even RR with the coding system between the PC and Jag as I had mentioned. where have you been buddy? Does that mean you are still excited about playing Impulse X ? I've been around. I have an arcade Arkanoid but it's good to see Matthias coding away. Those recent titles mentioned are avaialable for CD or Skunk(flashcart, alpine) and for BJL(JUGS) too! So choose your hardware for those!
Matthias
Hello, i just have voted "Yes!". But as i haven't seen it mentioned in this thread, i just wanted to add my "warning" that you also will need a MemoryTrack-cartridge, even the pack-in games benefit from this extra. Kind regards Matthias

Which goes to my point actually. The ULS does not trivialize anything but the encryption process.

The skunkboard is without doubt much more relieable than a JagCD. However too few people actually own a skunkboard, to make it a good medium to create and release games for it alone. As long as that's the case, Jaguar CD or Cart (for those who can afford creating them and if the game fits onto it) is the only way I see to reach most of the Jaguar user base. Maybe JagCF will help when it's finished, but then again, we don't know how the community will respond to it.
