darthkur
You are Bounty Bob, the most loyal, heroic and charismatic Mounty that ever was. Because of those fine and upstanding qualities you were selected to track down the dreaded Yukon Yohan who has absconded to an abandoned uranium mine. You must search the dark passages in search of this fiend to apprehend him and bring him to justice. There are 10 stations in this mine and you must "claim" every inch of each station in order for you to move on to the next. There are helpful items that have been left about that will greatly aid you in your quest. Not only do they create a "bonus" for you when acquired but they will also magically turn the disposition of the deadly mutants that roam freely about the mine shafts. Because normally the ill-natured beasts are quite toxic and fatal if touched but with the aid of these items they change both their appearance and essence which enables you to quickly neutralize them. But be quick about it for the effect is temporary. So gear up and forage on Bounty Bob for this is your greatest challenge as of yet. Emulators are fine as is whatever controller you feel the most comfortable with. Screenshots are great but not mandatory. Please do not use any cheat/hack options. These include auto-fire, unlimited lives, invincibility, etc. Also, no continues. Only games begun at the beginning count. Settings: Level 1 (default) Contest ends on: 6-21-10 at 1:00am EST. atariksi
I'll start this off with a low score so people feel inclined to beat it. Really, though it's my first (and second) time at this game since I just bought this cartridge from Craigslist.
roadrunner
18,155 This is so much better than the 2600 version.
atariksi
18,155 This is so much better than the 2600 version. 20,500. I am going to beat that since I'm setting up with PC joystick. Need a joystick that jumps better and moves more exactly.

atariron82
This game is as fun as it is challenging . It takes a lot of practice to learn some of the precise and tricky jumps in the higher levels. I'm currently stuck on screen 7(zone 1) where I lost all of my Bounty Bobs. It's a pretty crazy mix of chutes, tranporters, and hard-to-access platforms 29,

Divya16
Can't get that monster on top in station #8. Okay, got those two monsters on top-- the broken ladder doesn't work-- you have to activate that white lift you see here in the picture:

NoahsMyBro
As much as I love and defend the 5200 controllers I suspect they might be contributing to my difficulty this round. I cannot get past Stage 5, no matter how many times I try. So, pulling in near the bottom I think - I've got 28,765. That may be my best score before deadline. I cannot get past Stage 5, no matter how many times I try. So, pulling in near the bottom I think - I've got 28,765. That may be my best score before deadline. I played this game with Atari 5200 stock controllers, Wico stick, PC Gravis joystick using Bohoki's adapter, and then finally with MPDOS DJA w/Atari 2600 joystick. I finally got into the 40K+ with MPDOS DJA. Station #6 and #9 require diagonal jumps from exact spots and require good timing.

atariksi
Here's the progression of my scores as I switched joysticks from four different types. Top 3 scores via Digital joystick (Atari 2600), then Wico, then Gravis, and then A5200 controller. Wico did beat the PC joystick scores so it's better than that (at least in my book).
