xg4bx
i've read good yet relatively mixed reviews and i'm curious to hear impressions from anyone who has played it. Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/164718-anybody-play-alan-wake/ Share on other sites
HuckleCat
To me, it's "ok". You can tell from playing it only 5 minutes that it's somewhat a celebration of Stephen King. I mean, the graphics are great, and they do a good job of setting a mood, it just was not that "scary" to me. If you're a big fan of Stephen King, you'll probably love it. It's got the spooky Maine forest setting down perfect. As for myself, I just don't think it's as "scary" as Dead Space or System Shock 2. oldgame
It is pretty good but I think Deadly Premonition is alot better. Alan Wake is more like x-files and Deadly Premonition is like Twin Peaks.
