rchennau
I am ordering up all the parts to do the Super Video 2.1 for both my 800XL and 600XL. However I was wondering instead of getting a 5 PIN DIN JACK mount why not simply purchase a S-VIDEO JACK mount and save myself of having to use a 5-pin to s-video cable? I can live without having composite out through the cable. I suppose I would even have to do less soldering at the din point. Or is there some magic going on from a 5 pin to 4 pin din? +wood_jl
Good point, but soon you won't be able to buy a TV that has S-video input!!! You'd also have to add an RCA jack for audio, right? Maybe another for composite. So wouldn't it be 3 jacks (S-vid, audio, composite)? Or just the 5-pin.
