ovalbugmann
There have been several requests by JagFans, after seeing the shortened clips of this on YouTube, to see both of the Atari Jaguar "THE CAVE" Infommercials in their entirety and without using the old regionalized VideoTapes(VHS) of the films. So I have taken it upon myself to make a non-regional DVD ISO disc image of the master tapes for "The Cave", and upload it to Mediafire for everybody to download for free. It's a burnable ISO of the two films on Non-Regional DVD Video. The two videos on it are: The $159 Console + Cybermorph Cartridge Offer & The $199 Console + Cybermorph + three(3) additional Jaguar Game Cartridges offer. I hope you guys enjoy it!! (take all the below spanned RARs and put them in the same folder and extract any one of them) Part1of12: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?pa4tf51zyqfj0lp Part2of12: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?vc96ifti6u5nvzn Part3of12: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?y67zt9p5dmlive8 Part4of12: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?bpia07fah97uywk Part5of12: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?yppwik4p78rbf78 Part6of12: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?xbhbmr82kxov4k4 Part7of12: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?memcc0769hjx1wm Part8of12: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?yg1g5l8w44d12q3 Part9of12: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?dz9nme7sq79ksfb Part10of12: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?5cpuesrrsy4mxme Part11of12: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?w7c5qaqrshrdxhs Part12of12: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ib3e7wbfsauoa6h Total size of all the RARs: 2.15GB -UnRARed it is: 2.35GB (I think) Here is the program that I used to create the DVD ISO and you could also use it to burn this ISO to a DVD-R/DVD+R/DVD-RW too, if you want: http://www.freewarefiles.com/Ashampoo-Burn...gram_41028.html If there are any problems please let me know, I successfully burned a playable DVD disc from the RAR contained ISO image. +save2600
Thanks for this! Just wish my cable modem access was faster. Downloading the first one now at 144kb/sec That link of yours to compile the images is broken. If these are just a string of .ISO files though, I should be able to make use of them on my Mac. If these are just a string of .ISO files though, I should be able to make use of them on my Mac. You can use any number of apps that will reassemble the rars, I think even Stuffit Expander does it. I didn't burn the disk to DVD yet, which is what the linked software is for. I opened the assembled ISO in VLC and it watched it that way

ovalbugmann
Thank You all! for the kind remarks. It's a cheesy but neat video for Jag fans. It did make me want to play Jaguar, when he was talking about blasting alien ships in Cybermorph. Glad you guys are enjoying it and haven't had any problems downloading from Mediafire.com & burning it. I had to break up the video in under 200MB sections but one of the reasons I chose Mediafire is because downloaders don't have to wait on a timer to DL and there are no downloading limits imposed. Thanks for all the rep one-ups, and I've given you all rep-one ups too. Sorry the software link is broken, it was just Ashampoo Burning Studio 6.77 (decent freeware) but here is another link for the same thing that hopefully won't go down: http://majorgeeks.com/Ashampoo_Burning_Studio_6_FREE_d5937.html I will look into making a DIVX version, for DVD players that can do that.

+save2600
Just wanted to say 'thanks' again Ovalbugmann. That video was the star of the show last night while gaming. Had it playing in the background while playing pinball and such down in the basement. Creation of the .iso couldn't be easier on a Mac. Download all .rar's, put them in a folder, double-clicked on the 1st one and it magically stitched ALL of 'em together - creating a burnable 2.3GB .iso that even my PS2 liked
ovalbugmann
Glad you enjoyed it, Save 2600, and I'm glad everyone also liked the video too -it's just an old Jaguar curio, something to have a good laugh at. Although it did actually make me want to play Jaguar. I never saw it back in mid 1990's that I remember, I did watch stuff late at night, like "USA -Up All Night" but never saw the other Jaguar spot that was on there either, so it's good to have this infommercial on disc to pop in every once in a while. ovalbugmann
Yeah, A while after i uploaded my surprise holloween night of the living dead encypted JagCD set, mediafire sent me a email saying some bull about video piracy and they took down all my stuff and closed my account. I don't know what really happened there but they mighta just took it down cause its time was up, not enough hits or something..idk Edited January 10, 2014 by ovalbugmann
LinkoVitch
Perhaps worth using a torrent to distribute this? If a few people can seed it then there is no need to hope the host doesn't eat it randomly? I'd be happy to host a seed.
108 Stars
I'm glad I have all that stuff on DVD. Got it at e-Jagfest 2012, containing the infomercials in all versions, the Jag press conference and Jaguar at E3.
Hyperboy
A torrent of this would be great!

I can't find anyone who actually has this as a .ISO (DVDR). Only the bad quality youtube copy of it that is highly compressed. If you can upload this to Mega I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! ovalbugmann
Hello eveyone! That's great people are still interested in this! My bad for choosing a crappy file service site. The infommercial is really good for a laugh! Well, I've been out of sorts much of the time lately and for too long and have unsorted Jaguar and computer archive discs to go through but as soon as I find the conversion .iso file I made I will try to do something with it so it's around again. Or if I find my copy I can just make an .iso of that. Will update when possible. PM sent SacrifyX.
LinkoVitch
WB ovalbugman! I host a bunch of stuff on my site, can put it there, but do think for something of this size setting up a few permanent torrent seeds may be handy in spreading the load rather than a single HTTP xfer type affair. Happy to look into running a seed/tracker for it if you like?
Gunstar
It would be even cooler, IMHO, if we could get it on Jaguar Cinepak CD. it would just fit so nicely watching a Jag infomercial on an actual Jag!
sh3-rg
Wouldn't be a problem hosting massive stuff on bitfellas FTP somewhere or the Reboot website (atari.org).
ovalbugmann
Thanks for the welcome back Linko and sh3-rg - it's much appreciated and makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. lol seriously thank you, I'm glad to be back. I like Gunstars' The Cave Cinepak idea. But in the meantime when I get ahold of the file I'll make sure it doesn't get lost again and the simplest thing to do I think is make a torrent out of it so as not to burden anyone's site or servers or use up their bandwidth. I can seed it too of course. One of my computers is always on anyways. If the torrent does die down the road then we can think of a more permanent solution. Just don't want to impose on anyone. Yeah torrents are great I still use them all the time.
ovalbugmann
!!!!!!!NEWSUPDATE!!!!!!!!lol Under duress, I have just stumbled upon in a random, clumbsy quick-n-dirty search of suspected jaguar items laden areas of the house, a clue that lead to the ascertainment, of the verified location of the offending DVD disc in question, control has authorized and initiated a robotic retrieval team into the dangerous dark reaches of the vile and sometimes pr0n riddled back closet in my room, now many minutes later, gloriously, "The Cave" highest available resolution DVD disc now lay in my hands,.... ready for a new assignment to entertain the people with pure 90's fun and laughs & women, it has no scratches on it at all and has been tested good for video/ audio playback on the on PC using VLC and XP. I have also looked up, investigated and found, it took me a few minutes tho, to find: mega.co.nz - the cloud based successor the the US Justice Department siezure of megaupload both founded by Kim Dotcom. I am all signed up on Mega cloud. All that beneath the remains, is to make an non-regional .iso image of it, (imaging program undetermined) and upload it to their cloud in the deep blue sky in one big massive file. *******This is a prime example of something my English teacher taught me: never use a bigger more complicated word when a smaller more simpler word will do!******* http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mega_(website) (You'll have to excuse me but I am pretty ripped and tired and really liking this awesome IBM PC AT keyboard from 1984 that I'm typing this on.) LinkoVitch
Ah IBM keyboards verily a more voracious verbiage vestment is very difficult to ascertain, vexed I am in my lack of virtuous verbal accoutrements to vilify my various thoughts on this subject! (my keyboard is less ossum, so I am going to stop now but good work squire)
ovalbugmann
Uploading new Dvd Cave .iso now,...this new Mega site has auto encryption, entropy and RSA key pairing. Maybe that will help this new Mega site from getting taken down by the Federales. I haven't did a test burn of the .iso but it should be good to go. Will update again when it's ready for downloading.....
