the-topdog
I just made a sweet Mattel Aquarius haul in eBay. I got a CIB Aquarius, CIB Mini-Expander, and three CIB games (Advanced Dungeones and Dragons, Astrosmash and Biorhythms)... all for $12.90 The seller had it listed as an Aquarius System and games... by omitting "Mattel" or "Computer" from the listing, it went virtually unnoticed... The funny thing though, was the odd behavior of the seller himself. I was bidding just to get the three games for future trading stock... especially since two of them would be like R6 or R7 (Astrosmash is like an R3). I asked him if he could just ship the three games only to reduce the shipping cost... he could keep the computer and the mini-expander and resell them on eBay since I didn't want them. He acted as if I were trying to pull something over on him... like it was some sort of con. He basically replied that it was a nice try but it was sold as a package deal period. I swear I could hear crickets chirping in my head. So now basically... once it arrives, I'll have another CIB Mattel Aquarius computer and mini-expander to sell in the marketplace here I guess. Anyone interested?
Rev
lol, That would be odd for someone though, not send the system? I did that when i bought a huge intv lot a while back, i let him keep like 10 systems and he knocked some off the price.

jaybird3rd
So now basically... once it arrives, I'll have another CIB Mattel Aquarius computer and mini-expander to sell in the marketplace here I guess. Anyone interested? I would have jumped on them not that long ago, but I've managed to pick up a few inexpensive Aquarius systems with Mini-Expanders recently, so I don't really need them. Besides, I'd hate to buy up all the available Aquarius hardware and not leave any for the people who might want my multi-cart and RAM cartridges (which, by the way, I'm finally getting back to after being swamped with work for the last two weeks). I don't think you'll have a problem finding a buyer if you post them in the Marketplace. EDIT: You got AD&D and Astrosmash in that lot?! Nice! I saw a CIB AD&D cartridge sell for about $50 on eBay all by itself not that long ago. I need to refine my searching technique more.

Between AD&D and Biorhythms it is almost $100 worth of trading stock... Astrosmash was a nice little bonus. I was quite happy with the haul. Tho I'm still confused why he didn't want to keep the computer and sell it again. He was under the mistaken impression that his Biorhythms was not complete... but it is. There are no overlays for it.
