These games a rather old and Breakout games have improved , just think of Arkanoid or Krakout or 1000 other clones. I mean has anybody tried to program a Breakout-game with better graphics , moving enemies and extras as in Arkanoid ? This would be a great game for ATARI 2600 , especially for use with paddles. Even more interesting for the ATARI 7800.Is there a Breakout game on this console ? Or on the ATARI 5200 ? That's actually a pretty good idea.. you figure the 2600 was MADE for pong/breakout, and with all the advances in 2600 programming tricks made since then, I'm sure you could throw in a couple of interesting power ups/block stages/etc. into the mix.
