gloriousconnor
I was at the flea today and I saw a 7800 at a man's stand. It was a little dirty but all-in-all in decent shape with a bunch of assorted controllers and hookups in the box with it. I had been looking for a 7800 and had never seen one in the wild so I asked him about it. He wanted $20 for it and I was going to buy it when under the table I noticed the 7800's box and a 2600 stand/game case filled with games for both 2600 and 7800. He declined my offers I made on everything and said he wouldn't go under $50. After a little persuasion I got him down to $40. I paid and started to stack my purchases to leave when I realized the 7800 box was heavy, not empty. I opened it and was surprised when I saw a second, flawless 7800 system in much better condition than the other and several controllers for it. So, did I overpay for these or was this a good deal? I don't really know anything about the 7800 and was wondering what they usually go for. I can post pictures if anyone is interested.
Atari Joe
I think that's a very good deal if what you're saying is true. Don't stress the $40.

AtariLeaf
Yep you did really good. That's a really nice lot of games in there and although none are very rare you got some excellent titles and Kung Fu Master and Commando are mid range rarities IIRC. Yes those are 3rd party sticks in that one picture. Excellent buy. Congrats

The_Laird
They are Quickshot 1 joysticks to be exact, very sought after nowadays. I have sold a few on ebay for very good money.

I have a few and just thought they were cheap third party sticks. I like them for the suction cups if I'm playing Robotron on my desk. Lord Thag
Great deal. I'm only missing 3 7800 games for a complete set, and Commando was the last one I got. Very hard to find, and one of the best games on the system too. Nice haul man!
nathanallan
gloriousconnor that's an OUTSTANDING haul! two systems, those games and then a box, too? Yeah, a great deal indeed. Even if the box is taped up, still a real Atari box! Outstanding haul!!
